National Business Women's Week
Every year the Business and Professional Women’s Foundation recognizes National Business Women’s Week (NBWW) during the third week of October.
To celebrate BPW hosts an annual dinner honoring the contributions of working women, as well as the employers who support working women and their families. This fundraiser supports BPW's mission to contribute to and support non-profits in our community, as well as provide scholarships for local women.
2026 Woman of Achievement - Shonna Morales
Shonna Morales is a proud native of Midland and has a deep appreciation for everything her hometown represents. She began her real estate career in 1997 and has built a reputation grounded in experience, integrity, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed.
With a desire to lead and elevate those around her, Shonna joined forces with Amber Grissom and Ashley Irons to create Maven Real Estate Group — a female-owned brokerage founded on collaboration, leadership, and service.
Throughout her career, Shonna has served on numerous boards and remained deeply committed to her community. She is the founder of Fabulous Women of Midland, which has expanded to include chapters in Granbury, Odessa, Parker County, Monahans, and Johnson County. These groups were created to bring women together to build meaningful relationships, support locally owned businesses, and provide an avenue to give back to different non-profits each month. Collectively, the organization connects over 8,500 women across Texas.
In 2025, Shonna married her husband, Jerry. Together they enjoy traveling to new places, spending time with friends and family, and especially cherishing moments with their grandchildren. Her most treasured role began on April 8, 2005, when she became Connor's mom. They share a love for music, travel, sports, time on the golf course, and making the most of every moment they have together.
